Re: Flywheel Info

Found my info from the folks at Ford Performance.

"ALL 302's after 1981 are 50oz ...no exceptions." and "ALL 351W's 28oz No exceptions."

Flywheel Info

I've not posted here in a long time but I'm looking for some information regarding the proper balanced weight for the stock 93 Cobra. I find some conflicting information. Is it 0 oz, 28 oz or 50 oz balance? I have found sites that say it's 28 and others saying 50. Really a pain in the ass but with t...

I've got that beat by 3 miles. Mine has yet to come out of the garage. That day is approaching, I think.....

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

Good question, I haven't a clue if the label might show that. My number is just one of those odd/random pieces of information that somehow stuck in my memory.

Glad to see there are a few more original owners still out there.

Re: How many miles each year?

I range from 50 to 200 per year. So far it's 0 for this year and if mother nature doesn't lighten up a little here in NH. It will remain at 0.

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

Yup, it's a NY DSO car so it has the mandatory million mile odometer and the also required rear window defroster. The car was sold new in NY and from what I understand, some border cars (bordering states) may also have this NY mandatory requirement.

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

2232 looks mighty good!!!!

I would put the number at 4 in NH. Mine, yours, a kid that worked at Grappone Ford and one other black one. That would be 2 reds and 2 blacks. Never seen a teal here.

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

In response to the few who PM'd me to inquire about being interested in the car. I'd like to be able to say that at some point I will be ready, I mean really ready to sell it. But I'm not there yet. I always ponder the idea but selling this car is more about it going to the right person who will be ...

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

Mileage is something like 82K. As for repairs, I've redone steering, suspension and brakes. As well as swapped out some tired looking lighting with once cheap NOS parts. But most of the things I have done to it was more based on my wants then needs, if you know what I mean. This shot may be a year o...

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

There are still a hand full of us out there. I can think of about 4 others. Yup, that's one of a couple photos I took before driving it out into the snow. There are a couple of them posted in the photo section of this site. Hmm, a 20 year old virgin or not, could be FUN.... But does she have to talk?

Re: The Next 20 Starts Today

Random responses.... Yup, it was time to sell it YEARS ago. But after 20, I think I'd be happier chopping it up and using it as a donor car for a FF kit build. Now, stop freaking out, it's highly unlikely that I would do that. Although I did consider it a few years back. But, selling is always a pos...

The Next 20 Starts Today

It's official, I've now owned my 93 for 20 years. Inside the dealers service area at time of delivery, outside there was 14 inches of snow and it was still snowing. Yes, this was my daily driver for the first 2 years. Boy those early days were lots of fun. Now the car sits covered in the garage. I d...
