Re: How to Locate Original Owner

Unfortunately I don't have any dealership paperwork. The way he found me was he remembered what the build number was and saw my name on the registry under that number. When we talked a few years back I do remember him saying he sold Fords at a dealership in the Cincinnati area. He sold it to a Ford ...

How to Locate Original Owner

Hey guys does anyone know how to locate original owners of our cars legally? The original owner contacted me through this registry a few years ago and asked if I wanted to sell my Cobra. At the time I wasn't ready. Five years later I'm seriously considering. The only thing is I want to give him firs...

How could you tell which sensor in the front was bad? I have a flash code of 13. All the description says is front.

Also, does anyone sell sensors brand new?

I hope somebody answers in myself. I have been thinking the same thing about the E cam for three weeks now.

I was also wondering if anyone has the dynamod ignition module with a screamin' demon coil from performance distributors.

So you think with just basic bolt-on mods I might as well just stick with the 65 huh?

Throttle Body upgrade

I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with moving up to a 70mm throttle body. I'm asking this based on staying with the 24 lb. injectors. I've read that the TB size and inj. poundage were efficiently matched.

1/2 Dead Cobra

I don't know if anybody has seen it yet but there is a wrecked cobra for sale on MPS salvage web site. I hope it's not one of our member's cars. They're asking $6995 for the whole car. Go check it out.

I was looking over your post and I think you have the same problem I had. It was described to me that Ford had somewhat of a flaw in the wiring to the light switch. I'm willing to bet you were driving for a while at night with both your head and foglights on. The current coming to the switch is too ...

It goes into fifth. I just bypass third when I shift because I wasn't sure if reverse ran off of third. Is there a rebuild kit? I found out we have T-5Z transmissions that have considerable differences from the World class T-5.

Got tranny problems

Ok guys I was wondering if anybody could help me with my problem. While at the track one weekend I damaged my transmission burning out backwards. I know Iknow, stupid. Well now my reverse is gone. All it does now is grind, forward gears ok. Does this require a total rebuild or can I replace t...

You are certainly right about the "Air Bag" light flashing. Evidently it's not a blown bulb since it is flashing. More than likely there must be a fault found somewhere. But before I take it to get the air bag system checked by Ford what steps would you take to remedy the problem?
