Don't those new ones have tape-on pinstriping, versus painted like the original? That could be the issue. Still, if I was restoring one, I'd probably go that route and get both sides rather than pay what they want for NOS originals these days.

Normally, I don't like appearance mods, but in this case... I have to say... Where do you get one?

There are a lot of forces at work here, and lots of good points made. '93 Cobras are the most marketable in stock form, or with very mild mods that can easily be reversed. When you build your version of an ultimate dream car, it's a very personal project with lots of custom fabricated items that app...

You're not going to get much louder than 2 chamber Flowmasters. They sound great outside the car, nothing makes a 5.0 sound tougher; but they are patently obnoxious inside the car around 2K rpm. Another loud muff with real bad droning is the MAC (I think) American Thunder cat back. With either of th...

I'd start at the fuse block, then check for power at the switch.

This poster was not sent to 93 Cobra owners. It was something you could recieve from SVT if you requested info and the poster itself. Henry, I'm also an original owner. Ford did send me that poster without me asking for it, and at the same time they also sent the numbered certificate, and an invita...

Very, cool! Did that teal Cobra start as a wreck, stripped theft, aborted project, or what? Just curious is all. Workmanship looks first rate.

This is what Ford sent me in '93: The same "factory lowered" car in the brochure.

It's very cool and the workmanship is first rate, but my dream version would have A/C, power brakes, and windshield wipers.

The whole rear brake system on a '93 Cobra is actually the system used on the '87 and '88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. So if you can find one of those in a junkyard, it will have the parts.

They came from Ford with a 95 LPH pump, same as the '94-'95 GT. The bracket is a little different, but the pump is interchangeable. If you go with a larger pump, like the Motorsport/FRPP 190 LPH, it will run the same, and my 190 was actually quieter than the original one.

Completely different. What you need is a system from an '89-'93 5.0 Mustang engine, GT, LX, or Cobra are all the same. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Great, now we'll be seeing our 93 Cobra wheels on SN95's and ****. Mixed feelings here... kinda happy kinda sad. The replica wheels look tight on these cars though, I like fat rear tires, much better than stock. Maybe a few sets, but not real likely since they are a limited production special order...
