Re: (MVP1222) Teal/Grey Cloth / #4738 PA

No longer for sale. Didn't really get the interest I was expecting and found some cheap storage until my house is built. So she's gone for the winter. We'll see how much play time she gets this summer when the baby comes.

Thanks to all those who were interested.

(N/A) Teal/Grey Cloth / #4738 PA

Long story short, probably going to have to part with #4738. Maybe priced a little high now to account for the Craigslist low-ballers. If you're interested, shoot me an email at steeda_3@hotmail.com Looking for a quick sale to someone who knows these cars so I don't have to explain all the little th...

So 4 months for the winter should be fine with the occasional rotation.

And the trickle charger for battery maintenance.

Thanks guys!

Winter Storage

Hey guys, Born and raised in Florida. Spending my first winter up here in Pittsburgh with something that I don't want to expose to the elements. Any advice for winter storage in my garage? Is putting it on blocks necessary? Should I get one of those trickle dischargers? Or a quick disconnect for the...

a taboo topic

OK...so at the risk of being ridiculed again, I have a question: I am currently running FRPP B springs with Kony adjustable struts. The ride height is a little high in the back. I have read a lot of mixed things online about FRPP springs being designed with a dead coil in the back that can be cut if...

I'm checking one of my sources even as we speak. He will know for sure and I'll report the results. Very interested in what you find. According to the DIY article I linked above, the problem was the 18gauge wire they used for the mains and fogs...not the switch itself. At some point, someone had wi...

Correct. The combo headlight/foglight switch pulls too much current when both are on. It was upgraded the last couple years of fox production, IIRC. So was it fixed by 93? I suspect my problem was due to a previous owner splicing the circuit so that fogs could be run independent of normal headlight...

Fog light mod

Having some fog light issues due to some melting wires/plugs. Got the repair kit but considered doing the relay mod below: http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html Question is this: For rare night driving (once a month), and probably never for over an hour, is this really a concern? Too...

Shoulda listened to Aaron

Yep...Those armrests are horrible. Not only do the not fit...they dont have any sort of metal insert for the mounting screws to bite into. I can't believe they sell them. So now what? What the hell does everyone do when their armrests start mushrooming out on the bottom? Sorry for the agitation...bu...

Interior Painting

Anyone have any advice on painting interior parts? I picked up a set of door armrests from LMR and a can of the Opal Grey interior paint. First try at painting them didn't work out as expected. The paint ended up bubbling up and wouldn't really stick. I ended up peeling it all off. Do I need to prep...

Not sure yet. The R58s look really good with the drilled rotors I put on. So I'm kinda torn between going with the repros or staying with the R58s. Ill post em here first whichever set I decide to sell.

Thanks. Finally solved my rubbing issues without having to limit the rack with bushings. Apparently the baer brake spindles and rotors (thinner top hat) were the prob. Got a set of sn95 spindles and 13 rotors for an 03 put in last weekend. No more rubbing. Now for that center console replacement.

5 lug. Finally talked to baer and the original owner, and I think I found a smoking gun. Swapping out all the baer stuff for sn95 spindles, and 03 cobra rotors and calipers.

Fingers crossed!

Thanks anyway.
