Forgot to add that I used a B cam with 1.7 rockers with stock heads (upgraded springs) in the cobra and made decent power. But there are better options out there

I don't think you will see much over what a B or E cam would offer with stock heads. F cam 'might' be overkill because our heads in stock configuration stop flowing decently at .500 lift. Instead of going with a alphabet cam look into a custom cam or some of the custom off the shelf grinds that AFM ...

I am pretty sure that the problem black93 mentioned is because he was using a head with a 2.02 valve.

According to math I just did, an F cam would have .544 lift with 1.7 rockers. I ran a 544 lift cam on my cobra with stock bottom end with no problems

I don't buy that. There are plenty of aftermarket companies that offer better quality than OEM. Good example is what this thread is about. Moser and FRPP axles are better than actual OEM axles.
