Re: Have you tried these quarter windows?

Any real comparison pics of the aftermarket up against a set originals? I had some lengthy conversation with a Carlite Rep a few years back asking if they would continue production of the 87-93 originals (notch and hatch) being that most restorers want near exact originals. I'll have to look for tho...

Re: How hard to install front struts

Simple. Took me a bit to find the good bookmark I had among the many bookmarks on multiple computers in my possession... LOL. Here it is, once on the site below, scroll down about 3/4 of the way and you will find the tech showing how to replace the front struts (and springs). It's very easy to do at...

Accessing Gallery from home page = fatal error

When trying to access the 93 Cobra gallery from the home page menu, once clicking on "1993 Cobra's", the following fatal error pops up: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 18874368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /hermes/bosweb25b/b903/ipw.i1993cob/public_html/Gallery3/clas...

Re: Red/black sunroof 70k miles $9,800 PA.

Just came across this listing for the same Cobra where the asking price is $11.5k.... Maybe I'm missing the monetary conversion some where along the way.... :smokin: http://www.americancarcentrale.com/ebay/261200197125#ot-tab (The vehicle description on the description tab in above link has a little...

So, the price increased from earlier ad listings to $15k now - and assuming the worn out engine still blows blue smoke?

LOL :pat:

Re: Teal/gray cloth 22k miles #3524 modded ebay MO.

The owner also mentions the car has been repainted (for reasons unknown - especially on a "22k" mile car). There are 2 pics that show what appears to be paint cracking or blistering from possibly bondo/filler or poor paint prep work. Some die hard drag racing folks convert over to manual b...

Re: Red/Grey?/Sunroof 6k Miles $12k PA (Needs Bumper,Seats,e

Has anyone been given the VIN to 1396 yet?? Based on the additional pics - Note 1: Passenger side front fender has a R-DOT label on it (original Ford replacement sheet metal) Note 2: Driver's side front fender - no VIN or R-DOT label I would definitely recommend potential buyer(s) to go over the she...

Re: power seat controller mounting

IIRC for the Fox 5.0 front seat switches (and also based on the same switch setup on the 94-95 5.0's), yes the upholstery is breached. You will see this at the front or face of the lower seat cushion, once the track controller switch is removed from the cushion, the wire harness protrudes through a ...

Re: Back on the road

Phil you sure you own a 94 and not a 93? <looks in garage>.... LOL - so far, I've owned (17) Mustangs, 98% of them were the 79-93's. With that said, that's not including the many I've bought/sold, wreck parted or helped others with throughout the years. I pretty much know the Fox's inside and out. ...

Cobra looks best and your repairs also look great too! Here is the link for the ashtray door repair: http://www.ponyrparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=182#.UWYbPHy9KSM Also, for those that do not know, the 87-88 center console ashtray doors were METAL. If you can find one in...

Re: good wax

Damn, seeing the Liquid Glass in this thread brought back some late 80's/early 90's memories, as I used that stuff exclusively on my prior Mustangs too! That product also produces excellent results on non-clearcoat vehicles! I've been using Zaino for the last 5 years or so, another excellent product...

Based on Seller's pics: It appears the driver side rocker ground effects is off as well as Cobra emblem on drivers side front fender. Passenger side front kick panel is removed too. The black "COBRA" emblem is removed from driver's side rear hatch. Looks like exhaust may be off too, as I c...

Re: Ignition wires

Yes, "ohming" out the wires by checking resistance as you did is the correct manner to test the wires. The lower the ohm/ft rating that is detected, the faster the energy is dispersed to the spark plug and is normally a good wire. Also, the length of an ignition wire can affect the ohms re...
