Re: OEM cobra intake F/S

For OEM

There should be the fire order near the water neck.
Part number F3z should be in between #7 & #8 runner.

I believe you are posting pictures of an aftermarket intake.

Re: #2531

I looked for the buck tag in the location you said. I didn't find it. I didn't look to extensively, as there is a lot going on in that area. If it was stapled it was probably history a long time ago.
Don't know what else to say...

I could cut those bolts down. But that would heat up the bolt.

Re: #2531

Disclaimer: this car has lived a "special" life. 57Q: yes it most definitely does. Both hatch & instrument. Have never actually tested to see if it functions as its a fair weather car. 585: it has an aftermarket radio. I based my 585 comment due to the auxiliary power amplifier under p...

Re: #2531

Interesting! I don't have the original window sticker. I wonder if a dealer could get me a reprint? I'm not sure of the original dealer, or how to find that out? I have paper receipts from the car dating back to 2004. It lived in Texas at that time. I called SVT and got a certificate and the add boo...

Re: #2531

Car has been heavily modified. Shell up restoration, including new motor. I could pop a freeze plug and install a block heater, but I don't think that is going to make or break the condition of the resto-mod. I have taken care to keep the look of the car stock. But once you open the hood and see coi...

Re: * What did you do to your Cobra today? *

Had to have a new driveshaft made to fit the Gear Vendors. Went with a Mark Williams bonded 7075 aluminum this time. Initially thought about another carbon fiber, but wanted to try something different. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m209/jmeegs/1993%20Cobra/97DFF6D5-2732-46D9-9DD3-5DB0A0D106D1_z...

Re: Widened wheels

315/35r17 Nitto NT05 Used the Steeda 2.5" wheel studs which are made by ARP but only sold through Steeda. I think you would have to pull the axel for 3" and not sure if they would protrude too far for the cover. Still ended up using a Maxium Motor 1/4" wheel spacer on driver side. Not...

Re: Cobra intake identification: smooth and more...

Ok, so it's an early and #555 or lower like I thought. Also it's not a pre-production nor an Austrailan. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m209/jmeegs/1993%20Cobra/D718CDF2-9C6B-48E3-AB08-7E80AB8E1BE2_zpsxtjyltbh.jpg I'm still confused on the aluminum plate. I'm chalking it up to nothing special. M...

Cobra intake identification: smooth and more...

Hi y'all, I'm hoping to poll the experts here, and get some information. I purchased an intake from EBay, from unknown identity. Here is as far as I could get with what I was able to dig up. First, it's what is commonly referred to as a "smooth" side. Of which I believe narrows down to the...
