Thanks for the replies, I checked all the vin tags really close, only thing strange is that the tags on the front and rear bumpers both have a clear piece of tape over them, is this different than everyone else's? But nothing else that looks off

Was it in Indianapolis? I had the same situation last July, wouldn't give me the vin, drove to look at it, ran carfax immediately, then wasn't interested, he acted like he had no idea that it had salvage title from New York, what a waste of time.

I recently replaced mine with the powerstop drilled/slotted from rockauto, front and back. I'm pleased with them so far, haven't driven much with the bad weather but so far so good.
