Re: Paint question for the experts

Thanks for the replies, I checked all the vin tags really close, only thing strange is that the tags on the front and rear bumpers both have a clear piece of tape over them, is this different than everyone else's? But nothing else that looks off

Re: #2371 Red-GreyCloth-Sunroof-Salvage 17k miles

Was it in Indianapolis? I had the same situation last July, wouldn't give me the vin, drove to look at it, ran carfax immediately, then wasn't interested, he acted like he had no idea that it had salvage title from New York, what a waste of time.

Paint question for the experts

Hello all, need a little help from experts. I just had #1624 detailed by a pro, he said there's no clearcoat on the front bumper and rear wing, anyone else ever noticed that on yours? His initial thought was that it's been painted, but the car has 15,000 miles on it, the paint looks great, but does ...

Re: Aftermarket Disc brake rotors

I recently replaced mine with the powerstop drilled/slotted from rockauto, front and back. I'm pleased with them so far, haven't driven much with the bad weather but so far so good. Also painted the calipers red to add a little detail for car shows this summer. http://s10.postimg.org/m9prdm9qd/20151...

wax on rubber around windows?

Hey guys, I ran into a sweet black 93 at a show in October, asked the guy what he used on his window rubber, he said he just used wax on it, but that it had silicone in it, anybody know what kind he was talking about? I read a post on here that someone else mentioned waxing that also but no specific...

Re: New member, #1624

When I got it, it was totally stock, even original tires, replaced with the Michelin pilot supersports because of dry rot. I also put the hurst shifter in it looking for a shorter throw but didn't make much of a difference to me. Would love to do exhaust but I'm hesitant to change much on it, what's...
