Re: Clear Corners

So do the cool Cobra guys supercharge their 93s? :look: Just know that whatever money is spent on mods you might as well burn that cash or flush it down the toilet. The mods bought with that cash may increase the fun factor of the car, but not the cars overall value. So Browns - Pretty ignorant sta...

Re: Blk/Gray 20k Miles in FL

As for the emblems, I have seen a few of them installed that high, a lot of the later cars came with them in the trunk and the dealer installed them. The seats sure look like 20K mile seats also, way too nice for 120K, It wouldn't be the first Low mile car I have just seen sit in the sun and bake. ...

Re: Blk/Gray 20k Miles in FL

Not mine. Owner say he has owned it since 1994 and has 20k Original miles. Car needs paint, is not stock and does not have the original parts. He is firm on the price at 15K Opinions on the price?? http://www.813cars.com/view/1180/Black-1993-Ford-Mustang-in-Tampa-Florida I doubt the mileage is accu...

Re: surging and bucking

I would always use sealant on the lower intake, especially around the front/back edges. I tend to use quite a bit as it's a PIA to redo. Kyle Are you referring to lower intake to block/heads or lower to sc? Lower intake to block. I bet this is where your problem might be coming from. I've had this ...

Re: surging and bucking

Double check the vacum lines, also check to make sure the supercharger made a good seal with the intake. I had one at a point doing similar things and was a leaking intake gasket, might even be able to spray around the intake with carb cleaner to see if it affects it. I agree, sounds like a big low...

Re: Question about MAF sensors

On a stock engine you're not going to notice a difference. Now, if you were to add some after-market parts that would require you to need more fuel, changing out the stock meter would add some HP and work better with the additional HP. I bet if you added a nice cold air kit, bigger meter as well as ...

Re: Info on this 1993 on Ebay

Nothing against a stock Cobra, but I'll take the vastly improved performance and enjoyment provided by my modified ride any day! The decrease in value (which is not always that much) of a properly and tastefully modified Cobra is more than offset by the fun to be had behind the wheel! Amen to that!...

Re: Does it really matter?

Assuming your set-up of the 351 motor achieves the same power from the factory, that swap should give your Cobra a significant bump in low-end performance but not much of a difference at higher speeds. The 351W Lightning motor had a lot more torque than the Cobra 302 (340 lb-ft @ 3200 vs. 280 lb-ft...
