Re: Sold my Terminator today!

Wow, can't complain about that, what is next in the line of sight for the garage? I have a vehicle in mind that I’ve had a “hankering” for - for awhile, but unless the perfect example plops in my lap, I probably won’t be adding another car in the immediate future. I’m also curious what Ford will re...

Sold my Terminator today!

I just sold my first Terminator today. I was given a cashier’s check for my full asking price. I actually never listed the car. Someone saw the pictures I posted of the 2 Mystichrome verts together and contacted me for a possible purchase. The buyer will be coming to town later with a trailer to tak...

No none of these are for sale. Well unless someone has more money than sense.
So, which one is your favorite kid?

Re: Oil and Filter recommendation

For me, a key detail of the look of my cars engine bays is to have a motorcraft oil filter and battery. Maybe stupid, to some, but it's a key detail for me (Im a stock purist, I confess). I took delivery of a fox this summer it had a brand new royal purple filter on it. I changed that filter as fas...

Re: Oil and Filter recommendation

I don’t drive mine much either, but use Mobile 1 in it. I use the specified viscosity (don’t recall what it is right now). As for filters, I usually use Wix or Mobile 1 filters in my cars. One thing to consider with these aging Foxes... my old 89 leaked quite a bit of oil. It sat for a long time and...

Photo shoot of son and his 2011 5.0

My 17 year old son got his car cleaned and wanted to get some pics with his new wheels and tires. He bought MMD 551C wheels from a seller on Craigslist. They had Mickey Thompson UHP Street Comps on them (255s in the front and 275s in the back). My son wanted more tire out back, so he just bought the...

What do you mean “first wax probably ever?”

New paint or car never had a wax job?

Right! I might of left money on the table
You actually did really well and got a bunch more for it than I ever thought would happen. I would have loved it for my “SVT garage,” but it was much more than I wanted to pay.

What kind of wax/polish are you using?
It's not necessarily the wax, but the process. I've corrected all of the cars with the exception of the R. That's really what makes them shine. My "wax" is MPT Argos, which is a follow-on to Liquid Glass Legend.

Did a little photo shoot today.

I got all 5 of the cars cleaned today and then pulled them outside for their first ever "family photo!" http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii501/Goose17T2/You_Doodle_2017-11-13T22_20_03Z_zpsj2v3wlrc.jpg http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii501/Goose17T2/You_Doodle_2017-11-13T22_24_14Z_zp...

Re: New SVT banner for the garage are artwork "redo!"

Nice, I believe you outbid me at 162.50 LOL, looks good in the garage. I've been buying up some stuff for my future garage I'm gonna build in the spring. Sorry! I figured there might be some bidders on the forum here. I couldn't let it slip away though. Do you have some other SVT stuff? The banners...

New SVT banner for the garage are artwork "redo!"

A big SVT banner from the 90s popped up on eBay recently. It had a bid close time early in the morning... I set an alarm and sniped it at the last second. I HAD TO HAVE IT! :yum: The description said it was 4'x10'. I laid it out next to the Shelby and confirmed, this thing is HUGE! http://i1257.phot...
