Re: WTB 9" Wide 93 Cobra Wheels 4 or 5 lug

If you can't find a 9" wheel you can put a 275/40/17 on the oem wheel. Some people don't like a 275 on the oem 7.5 wheel where as some think the 245 looks way too narrow. Here is mine with the 275s.

I've had all three. Amber, clear, and smoked. Some people liked smoked, others amber and some the clear. It comes down to what do you like the best.

Install was easy. Makes a difference, rear feels tighter. The wore out dry rotted 23 year old bushings in the old arms were not helping.

Re: Does it really matter?

Plenty of low end grunt (and high end power) available with a Vortech! Maybe, but a centrifugal Vortech is basically a belt driven turbo that needs some RPM to shine. A positive displacement blower like the KB I mentioned gives you that off idle, tire shredding grunt similar to that of a larger cub...

Re: 347 installed

Thanks.
I used to be a die hard 5spd guy. From stock 5 spds to world class to tremec 3550 to a tko 500. Finally tried an auto. For me and N/A car is fun with a 5spd but a blower/auto with the right converter is very nice.

Re: Coating or Painting 5.0 Mustang Under Hood Aluminum Part

Oil pan; Anyone know it the oil pan can be removed by raising the motor up as far as it will go and the motor mounts removed front the crossmember? Thanks, robj[/quote] You will not be able to raise the engine high enough to remove the oil pan. Only way to remove oil pan with engine in the car is to...
