Re: Teal/Black and Sunroof Registry

Million mile odometer is irrelevant in my opinion. Just means its been up north. Kinda like block heater, is it cool yea but does it matter? Not really. On those rare occasions when it might matter, its useful in avoiding the dilemma of whether that Cobra with “45675” on the odo is 45 thousand or 1...

Re: What's it worth?

It's rare to see a color in the Teal spectrum on the road, so it grabs my attention when I see one in passing. There's a reason for that. Teal belongs in the 80s along with Big Hair, Boomboxes and Break Dancing! ;) What do you think is a fair price? Dan -- In all seriousness, I'd ask $12K for your ...

Re: Teal/Black and Sunroof Registry

Hey, SVT4942. If you’re trying to create a complete list of the teal/blacks, a quick glance at your edited post and just the later numbers on Brett’s build number list shows your list is missing 4906, 4925, 4926, 4958, 4969, 4971, 4980 and 4989. I started adding them and took off to Dinner. I'm ove...

Re: Registry numbers

You're welcome. Just look for all the 'RD/DJ' cars and then for which of those have '13C' as an option.

Re: Teal/Black and Sunroof Registry

I know there is already a main registry, however, there is not any way of sorting the 185 Teal/Blacks and the 74 with Sunroof. Sure there is. With the 'Color' and 'Options' columns, you can find how many teal/blacks with or without sunroofs we have in the Registry. Just look for all the 'RD/DJ' car...

Re: Registry numbers

I have been updating the total number of Cobras in the registry as Brett posts updates in the 'Add Your Car' section for quite some time. There are currently 1270 Cobras listed. Here's the most recent thread - http://1993cobra.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9148&p=85229#p85229 With the 'Colo...

We now have 1270 Cobras listed in the Registry. This includes the 7 additions here, plus the four others added since the last larger update in Nov. 2016. Thanks, Brett!

Re: Daily driving #226: Don't you own a normal car?

We need a "like" button. Awesome stuff JeffG! X2! You’re certainly getting your money’s worth from that Cobra. But from one owner of a supercharged Cobra to another, how the !$&? are you getting 20mpg? It must be all that highway driving, because my Cobra gets nowhere close to that wi...

Re: Hemmings 25 year tribute

Good article. But that 0-60 and quarter mile time for a standard GT are wrong. That car was no rocket, but it was way faster than that.

Re: Painting underside of hood

Yeah, but the paint/clearcoat on a 2011 is much better quality than the paint on a '93. If the paint on that hood is still original, I'd be a little more careful.

Re: MotorWeek review of our 93's from back in the day

Nice trip down memory lane. I couldn't help laughing when the 17" tires were called "massive" (although back in '93 I guess they were). And I cringed as they drove the car through those puddles of road salt filled water!
