Re: What's it worth?
Funny! Just so happens, I dig the 80s! Kinda figured that. I bet you have a buddy named ‘Maverick’! Well, sorry... "Goose" is not in reference to Top Gun. Goose-17 was my cal sign in the Air Force. I was in the 1st Special Operations Squadron that has a goose as a mascot. I was the ...

Re: What's it worth?
One more "pro" is the COLOR! I like cars that POP and that are different. It's why I have Mystichrome Terminators and a 00R. I like an eye-catching car. There are diehard fans of each of the 3 colors, but for me, I see black and red cars every day I am out driving. It's rare to see a color...

A location helps with something as big as wheels so people can have an idea about shipping.

Another "pro" is it was a 1-owner car, which is neat.
Pictures would help when assessing value.
The pending engine and electrical overhauls will hurt the value the most in my opinion.

Re: Took the 93 for a drive
Sounds like a few more horses than stock! It also looks like you'd get some rubbing if you hit a solid bump with your tires sticking out and not much of a gap above. Any issues? Yes, maybe just a few more horses than stock. Must be the K&N filter. Lol It has foxbody length axles with a 15x10 wh...

Re: "New" toy arrived today.
We have some similar cars. Newly acquired 1993 Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and my Shelby is a 2007 that is modded up to 780hp. Like you the Shelby is what I call "stupid crazy fast" You really have to be careful but it is hilarious to drive. The Cobra R is such a raw track car. Exhaust sounds lik...

Fire extinguisher in my garage saved the day!
Had some excitement this morning! A couple days ago, I fired-up the old '89 to see if it would run. I haven't run it in a long time. It ran, but barely. I moved some cars and took it down the street, but barely made it back to the garage with it. Flash forward to this morning, I go down to the garag...

Re: Painting underside of hood
If you are worried about engine heat and paint, I'll offer this: I removed the hood insulation off my 750 hp 2011 GT500 a few years ago. I was having some rubbing issues with a couple of my mods. Neither my paint or the white vinyl stripes show any impact after many miles and I drive my Shelby HARD!...
