I FINALLY GOT BLOWN!! Kenne Bell 1.5L that is...

Post by ceetwarrior »

Hey guys, after like 7 weeks of having my snake down I finally got her up and to the dyno shop. The install was pretty straight forward. No hacking of any kind. Just bolts right up. 300RWHP and almost 400TQ at only 7.5PSI. Here's some pics.

A big thanks to Big Frank for all his help!! He talked me out of going for numbers with a centrifical and going for TORQUE of a twin screw.

KICK ASS dude. I might go this year. Last year my car wasn't nearly nice enough to go.... now it's decent. Was crusiing with Keith Duda last Saturday, he said he's for sure going to bring his '93 Cobra back this year, with his new Vortech XX blower! How many times has he won that class with it before, like 4 times?

That's great for you man but it sux for me. I won't be able to hang with you any more. We will have to slap my gtech in you car since you have a fresh dyno so we can see how acurate it is. When I get some bank I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with twin turbo.

They kicked him out of the 93 cobra class, his car is "too modded". I liked the teal one he sold better myself. I'm looking forward to it, this will be like my 8th year in a row with my teal 93.

Thanks guys!

Dantak, TT huh? Wow. You gotta come cruise with us some Saturday night.

drkhrse, haha, he didn't tell me that! Have you ever brought your R to it yet? Did you book hotel yet? I hear it sells out fast... it's close enough to me to drive my Cobra, no biggie about 200+ miles away.

This will be the first year for the R (trailered in). I'll drive the Teal one, ~700 miles.
