I looked into this set up and ones like it
at the time seemed like a significant expense and no real difference in performance

Ill be very interested to find out about your install and results

hopefully youll do a full write up on install when complete...

it does not seem like my car lacks room for adjustment I have what appears to be full travel and engagement of the clutch and plenty of slack not to ride the bearing but still have that little issue so if this is the way to solve it Im game, but before spending the money and time I would like to hear about others experience with this unit.

Ya, if you've got it on the clutch play, no need. Had plenty that didn't need it. That's cool.

What compression is your setup?

yes exactly I do have enough slack if memory serves me I think we had to install a slightly longer pivot/ball stud for the fork to be pushed out a bit more so it wouldnt contact the trans case when it was at its most released position and allow the throw out bearing to go all the way back. It all went together nicely after some trial and error with the original ball stud.

the motor is 10:1

update is definitely needed but its not the kind you are looking for..

I did get the unit and well looks like now I know why I got a great price.. I opened it up to clean it all up and repowder coat the bracket and anodize the pulley bracket and I found the rotors to be messed up like something got in there while it was running,, I called up kenne bell and they have not reached back to see if its ok to run it like this or it should be rebuild... It spins fine as far as I can tell and the bearing seem to be ok also. it just sucks having to deal with dishonest people I suppose its part of buying stuff online.... he represented the unit as almost brand new with less than 1000 miles on it.

Wow, I'd be livid. I'm sorry to hear this. Some people just need to die.

totally looks like damage that would happen during shipping.
Yeah if you figured out a way to keep it spinning at 50K rpms during shipment
and packaged it with loose hardware.
Did you get it off Ebay?
In my entire life I've only bought a used part once and that's because
of stories like this. Makes me mad and It didn't even happen to me.
