why would anyone go to Ford to buy a part?

To get OEM quality vs a POS aftermarket one.

I don't buy that. There are plenty of aftermarket companies that offer better quality than OEM. Good example is what this thread is about. Moser and FRPP axles are better than actual OEM axles.
