Looking for History on Cobra #2453

My buddy picked up a vibrant red 93 cobra #2453 last year (march 06) in PA and was wondering if anyone knows the history on this car. I'ts been hit in the front and we think the car came out of Texas with a previous owner.
The car now has a blown 331 stroker motor in it and is absolutely gorgeous.

thanks guys, does anyone know the history of the car? just curious.
the floor is armstrong excelon vht tile. commercial grade (like they have in walmart)
