SVT certificate

Post by BrettT »

Well, I went ahead and spent the $40 for the SVT CERTIFICATE'S for both of my Cobras. Never new what my 03 build number was until now. Really didn't have the interest in knowing until I got my 93.

I remember seeing many comments on the quality of the paper they use for the certificate. All so very true. For 40 bucks a piece. I would agree with what I read. They could use just somewhat better paper to print on.

But, with that said. I'm pleased to have some additional information and documentation on both my cars.

93' built on 6/23/93 #4867 (officially 18 yrs old tomorrow )
03' built on 1/14/03 #4747

Will you frame them or place them in a binder ?

If I ever get my Cobra I'll frame it.

The original ones had an SVT logo, as well as the reprints years later, though the latter was slightly different.

I'd also like to know what they're printing on them for the 93's nowadays.

I'm just glad I got mine for free when they would still do that. :)

That's brings up a good point were the signatures the same on all the original certificates, letters? The only reason I would ask is cause I looked at a car and all he had was copies of the letters and certificate, no originals for it.

I think I'm going to frame them.

I will take some pics of them tonight when I get home and post them up so you see the details.

Go into the gallery and you can see the original version, and the one used prior to the one you have displayed. Also notice all of the different folks involved with SVT over the years.
