Can't you get a classic car policy w/an agreed value for your Cobra (e.g. Hagerty, American Modern, Grundy, etc.)? These policies should run you less than $500 for the year for full coverage including roadside assistance, flatbed towing, etc.

Huh? Strange that you thought my post suggesting a $$ saving insurance policy sounded disturbed.

Now, some of the drivers I blast by on my occasional late-night full-throttle runs probably think I'm disturbed. But that's another story!

Pulled #2779 out of the garage today after work and gave her a bath. She was filthy... mostly just dust from sitting. After a bath I checked the tire pressure and gave air to the low one. Then I took it out for a quick spin, just down the road and back. I almost forgot how much fun she is! :drive: :burnout:

Today I took my 93R to a car show. I'm not much of a car show guy but it was for a good cause and a good excuse to go for a drive. Afterward we took a drive to get lunch. I'm amazed we didn't get arrested as the speedo hit triple digits many times.... Great day with the guys.

Lunch stop pic. Place was closed, so we drove back down the hill a bit slower than we went up it. If was rough

It's a race car. With this hood it never gets hot as it has functional heat extractors. I bought it in 2006, I think.

That's awesome! Looks like it was a fun day. And I've like the hood since the first time I saw it. Think it looks mean...and it's functional to boot! Beautiful car.
