Are the stripes suppose to be grey?

Looking to replace my faded ones.

Yes but not light gray, and painting it black looks cheesy imo. Look up "wipe new" it'll restore it!

They are supposed to be the same color as the center bar. Those look to light to me. Have you tried waxing your originals?

A very mild wax would be best. If you rub too hard with a cleaner/wax it COULD polish the strip right off.

Have waxed mine for years with no ill effects.

its not the stripes on the tail light that seems faded its the black bar in the tailight is like a light grey. I thought it was suppose to be black?

the Wipe new stuff looks good, would it work on the metal frame around the window? what about the trim around the back windshield

I would tell you how it turns out except I just shipped my cobra to Bob Kurgan half way across the country!! I will try it on a piece of trim on one of my other cars and tell you my impression.

I am ALWAYS weary of these made-for-TV "miracle" products.

Bob kurgan is the $hit!!! I plan on having him tune my black car when I can find time to haul it down there. What did it cost to ship it if you don't mind me asking?
