Do we know when they stopped making the early intake with the smooth side?
Thanks but I meant to say what build number it swapped over at?Z282SLO wrote:The upper manifolds w/the ridge were included in engines built after approx. 2/19/93.
Based on a quick look at the registry list, #569 is the last one listed with a 2/18/93 build date and #595 is the first one listed with a 2/19/93 build date. So I would estimate somewhere after #569 and around #595.JohnLynch wrote:Thanks but I meant to say what build number it swapped over at?Z282SLO wrote:The upper manifolds w/the ridge were included in engines built after approx. 2/19/93.

Putting my baby up for sale! #501 of 4993 red/black cloth interior car fully restored. The car has 192k miles on it but has been COMPLETELY gone through and restored to show car specs. Paint on the car is a 9.9/10 interior is mostly new(carpet, seat covers, door panels, rear seat delete, radio) Motor was rebuilt and keep pretty close to stock with forged pistons and small comp cam added(car dynoed 264 rwhp) 3.55 rear gears. AC blows cold and car runs and drives great! I basically tried to make this car the way I would have built it from the factory. The car has been completed for around 6 years and I have multiple photos and reciepts of the build. Asking 12.5k call or text for more info Eddie 601-259-8413 no trades
