How many people can say there are 2 teal black sunroof cars as next door neighbors? I live next to Brett T we also grew up together as kids 30 miles away from where we are now. Ok enough of that back to cars. I just got 4886 Friday evening the car is not perfect for sure but it is well worth saving considering there is only maybe 70 more out there. I wanted a car I can drive now as 1442 resto has become well over the top and taken years to complete due to various reasons.
The car has 126k and change on it first thing Brett and I plan to do is clean up the interior car needs a headliner everything else just needs a proper cleaning. Then probably move on to the suspension/ brakes after driving it around Friday she feels a little loose and nose dives under hard breaking. The craziest thing about this car is at some point someone got tired of the fuel injection and put a carb on this thing I know I cannot believe it either. So it's really up in the air now as to do the engine as a stocker or use the 347 I have in the corner? Anyway maybe Brett can post a pic or two he took on Friday.

I forgot to add both Brett's car (4867) and 4886 were born on the same day and only 19 build numbers away. So it's been almost 22 years since they have last seen each other.

Small update: Been working on the interior pulled out the 3 gauge pod, the 5 in tach and about 5lbs of extra wire. :surprised:
Pulled the aftermarket radio and installed a 93 factory CD player a loaner out of 1442. On to the non working power locks "surprise" door lock actuators were missing so I assume they were frozen so new ones are on order now? Since the door panels are off I going to get the maps pockets straightened out, the typical sag going on. Added new hatch, door weather stripping, center console lid, new door handles and new door striker bushings.
Also finished up the fog light mod so I can use the fog lights with the running lights without the headlights being on. So after this week the interior should be very close to being done.
Next up suspension:
All parts have been ordered or sent to the powder coater
Oh and I have decided the 347/tko 500 is what needs to go in 4886 I need something FUN to drive.

Your car has some miles on it, wouldn't hurt to freshen up that motor and add a few pony's to it. I'm not saying make it a full blown race car like your blue car.

No blower on this one. I have never done a all motor car and I have a 347 already so just figured it was time. Love the look of these cars but man they suck for power. I have to do something so I enjoy it or I will end up selling it.
