shocks and struts
Since receiving 3928 back in Dec, Ive inspected everything on the car that can be looked at with the bare eye. However I haven't driven the car at all. I finally got it registered two weeks ago. This past week I took her on a shake down cruise. Did 25 miles, local back roads and a little highway run. Ran like a top! However I've noticed that the front end seems loose. Has the original struts and shocks. When I first bought 3928 it had H&R lowering springs, which it still has. Car drives straight and does not pull left or right. So is it time for new Struts and shocks? I have Koni's (love the Konis) on my Saleen, but that car is set up a little differently than the cobra. I know the original shocks and struts on cobra are Tokico. Leaning that way. I guess the questions is what is everyone running and what are there reviews of said shocks and struts! Thanks

Re: shocks and struts
I am a big fan of the OE shocks and struts on a Cobra, Id get some NOS ones if I were you. I just went this route and was so glad to to get the Monroe struts off car. I know another to avoid is KYB, at least the low priced ones.
Re: shocks and struts
When I had a lowered Cobra, I had Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks and struts. Couldnt have been happier with them .
Re: shocks and struts
the tokicos are some of the bests. love those shocks.

X3. Tokicos are fantastic. I have the Tokico 5-way adjustables on mine, along with Bilstein rear axle dampers and Steeda upper and lower rear control arms. This set-up takes the Cobra's improved handling over other Fox bodies to a whole new level.

Re: shocks and struts
I used these on an 88 fox, but had to paint them black, to look OEM, could not stand the blue.

Yea I felt the same when I bought a set for my teal. But the blue actually grew on me after I cleaned up the rest of the suspension parts and powder coated them black. The blue shocks and struts broke up all the black color.

They're well worth the expense.
