Attention Ford Techs,
I recently purchased a Ford factory alarm/ keyless entry system off of the internet. The part number is "F7A2-19A361-AA" the system number is 6. It came with good installation instructions for the do-it-yourselfer but my problem is the wiring color codes.
So I'm asking is there any way to get a wiring color/ identification chart for 87-93 mustangs? The alarm was listed to be a universal kit for all ford vehicles. A small booklet with wiring I.D. was included but it only had 2000 and up year vehicle information. It stated the color and responsibility for the wires listed.
Do you guys think I just wasted my money or can this be installed by someone other than a Ford Tech. I called one dealership to see if they could install it for me but he said it had to be purchased from them to do so. Is this true because in my opinion he sounded like they just didn't want to do it.
