My 93 Cobra, so happy to have found one

Post by Kilrgt »

Hi All,

Just posting in from Toronto, ON Canada! I finally was able to pick up a 93 Cobra, they were never available for sale in Canada so its a pretty rare thing. I'm not new to Mustangs, Iv had more then i can remember, I have always wanted one, Its really clean and has around 60 K on it. its not totally stock but I'm working on bringing it back to Factory original. Anyways just wanted to say hi and share my little gem. The interior is is great shape, i have to replace the dash because a PO installed bunch of gauges and a monster tach, now it has the mounting holes and I cant have that. The motor is Charged with the usual modes cam, heads ect ect. Doesn't matter its going stock. the hood is not original as it had a cowel at some point in its life, paint is and its in great shape! I did find a replacement Premium sound head unit so i will be replacing the center console as well to get rid of the aftermarket head unit screw holes and im looking for a cargo privacy cover....not going to be easy. Hope you enjoy and please post good or bad comments , I like to hear peoples thought!

The car is great foundation to make it almost perfect.... My hopes anyways

Vibrant Red, Opal Grey cloth
options are:
Power seat
Rear Defog
Premium Sound

Thanks everyone, While the cobra is awesome, its very primitive and i do like that fact, but really its just so very different then the 911. The Porsche is a monster, it has allot of work and its easy to make big HP numbers on a Twin Turbo. I love both cars for very different reasons, The Cobra has a special place with me, every time i drive it it brings me back to simpler times! I am very fortunate to have both.

Im going to like this place !

Looks Very clean! There's nothing like the sound of old time pushrod horsepower. I know just what you mean.

I like that you are going back to stock!

I wouldn't mind keeping the blower on, im sure it would be a dog with out but i really do want a clean stock car, the purpose of this car is to go to the local car show once a week thats less then 3 miles from my house.. Nothing is written in stone so we shall see where ill go with it

Thanks for all the comments so far!

With a turbo Porsche also in the garage, the need to keep the 'ol Cobra supercharged is greatly diminished. 8)
