Making the perfect original wheel....

Post by POOBLAH »

Ever since I've owned my car its had a set of Cobra R's as its wheels. Its been a long time coming, but I finally have a set of original NOS Cobra wheels as well as a set of original Gatorbacks that came off a Mach 1. I'm looking to make this set of wheels as close to how the car came originally from the factory.

What else needs to be considered?

The Wheel Caps
The Valve Stems (Do I need to worry about length or type?)
The Caps for the Valve Stems? (I see these on eBay for about $10 a set.. are these legit?)

Anything else?

Not sure of the lenth of the valve stems, I'll have to check. Someone else will likely beat me to it though. LOL

Caps are a grey looking color, not black. $10 for a set on ebay? Wow.
