NOS Goodyear Eagle ZR45 Gatorbacks

I scored a set of 4 NOS Goodyear Eagle ZR45 Gatorbacks. Still have the stickers on them.
Date coded 1006 (3) & 0906 (1). Were a project to track down but I'm happy to say the least. Not sure if I'll keep them for an extra set or sell them.

I seen a post by BrettT on FB showing a set of 16s they called it the "Goodyear collector series"

Kelsey Tire is the vendor for the "Gatorback" in the 225/60/15 for 1985-1990 Mustangs. I was told by them that they have no plans to make this tire in any additional sizes. That is perplexing to me since a 245/45/ZR17 Gatorback was an OEM tire on the Mustang from 1993-2004. They could also do the 16" tire for the Mustang/Camaro/Mustang SVO.

Yes, DB. Some years of Vettes had Gatorbacks.
Matt, I already have a new set on my Teal. This is an extra set I found.
Tom is right, they are only reproducing the VR60 that came on the 15" 10 hole wheels.

Don't forget the 'turbine' wheels on the '87-'90 GT. The VR60 came on those as well.

Thats a great find, If you want to sell them I have a friend that is restoring a 93 Feature car and he wants to use cobra wheels on it . You can PM me and i can pass on the info if you part with them
