"Cobra" decal

Post by pete3323 »

I was washing my car last weekend and the cobra decal fell off the back. Should I just get a new one or is there an adhesive to use to re-install it? It is an aftermarket decal.

Go to any auto parts store and get 3M double-sided automotive tape. Apply it to the back of the emblem and use a razor blade to trim around the edge. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol and it will adhere well.

3m tape on that emblem will be to thick. Not sure if you could use emblem glue might be a mess if not done right. I'd just find one on Ebay and replace it.

I think latemodelrestoration also sells the emblem as well.
