Fog light question

I recently purchased #2476 and the guy before me said the fog lights did work at one point but removed them. I tried to reinstall them with the factory harness and they dont work. I tried different bulbs, messing around with wiring, etc. Any ideas? My headlights, turn signals still work fine. Would the switch on the dash be bad even if headlights go on? Thanks.

Completely separate switch. Anyone with a Fox also knows of the overheating issue the switch as as well (learned this with a convertible I had one early morning) and the headlights start to flash.
