Looking for like new Cobra

Hello, new to the group. I was 24 and expecting my first kid when the 93 Cobra came out. Couldn't afford one then so looking for a "new" one now.

Looking for a low mile all original. When I say like new I mean one someone put away with almost miles and no mods. Just like I walked into Ford in 1993 and bought it today.

Should I put a WTB ad in the for sale section or here in general topics?

Prefer a black car but will consider any of the colors. Will travel for the right car.

Thanks for any input!
Scott

Thanks for a starting point. Looking for something with less than 100 miles.

Not sure if what I'm looking for is even available.

Thanks again, Scott

Probably gonna be pretty hard to find one with less than 100 miles, but there are several examples of 5k miles and less floating around. What interior option do you prefer, and other options?

24 years is a long time to wait. You may want to expand your search to cars with a little more than 100 miles so you're not waiting another 24.

I would consider any color with any interior options. Just want that feeling and experience of buying a brand new 1993 Cobra. I thought there were some collectors that had put some away still in the wrappers.
Thanks, Scott

Great, Scott!! What you need is a DeLorean with a flux capacitor, 1.21 gigawatts and 88mph. ;)

Good luck in your search.

lol

It would be a shame if you found one to remove the wrappers off it after all these years to start driving it and have it devalue so much then.

Remember that one guy who did that years ago? Bought a under 100 mile wrapper Vibrant Red car and paid in the upper 30's then if I recall. Tore the plastic off and drove it several thousand miles and put mufflers on it and popped up needing to sell it and couldnt get 25k for it.

As others have asked, are you planning on driving this car?

Actually planning on buying 2. Would like a new in the wrapper to keep like new and then find a 20,000 mile occasional driver. The "new" Cobra will be kept new, didn't mean to offend anyone. I had a 79 Indy Pace with 66 miles and only put 1 mile on that one in 2 years before I sold it to buy a 67 GT fastback.
Thanks again for everyone's help and input.

I'm sure what you are looking for (wrapper car), is out there. Now the hard part, finding one, and one that's for sale. As I have stated here before, I personally am not into wrapper cars, I want to be able to drive them some, but understand the concept, and like seeing wrapper cars preserved as such. You have a good outlook and plan.
