1993 Cobra Registry

Any guess as to how many were made or is there a way to find out?

All the Cobras that were originally sold from NY dealers. I think Admin or Brett may have access to that info.

There's nothing in the data that to show how many 'million mile odometers" cars were built.
However, I counted 195 NY dealers. I wouldn't say this a accurate number as some cars were transferred between dealers.

It's not the number of NY dealers that matters, it's the number of Cobras originally shipped from the factory to NY dealers, regardless of any dealer trades that may have occurred after the cars got to NY. Does your data show that #?

Another '93 Cobra mystery!

Most SSP mustangs had the million mile odometer also.

It was also common for dealers of adjacent states to New York to order cars with the million mile odometer knowing that NY required that thus greasing the wheels for a DX to happen or an outta state buyer to purchase a vehicle from them.

True, ours does and shows 196k miles.

According to the registry my car was originally sold from a dealer in Arkansas. One of the previous owners put a white face insert(200mph) over the cluster and I know that wasn't factory. My ODO has 7 digits and the last one is red. Does anyone have picture of their factory million mile ODO?

I haven't seen one from the factory either.

I have only seen one with the last digit as Red once before and that was on a 93 cobra that I looked at for sale in Nashville. It had 17k miles on the car and had a Saleen gauge cluster. I walked away from the car because I was uncomfortable with the odometer.
