Let me try this again. I have been visiting this site for some time and have found the information and member interaction most beneficial. I am the orginal owner of the Cobra. The details of the car are:
Production No. - 4209
Vin - 1FACP42D3PF188204
Ext - Black, Int - Leather
Options - Leather, CD Player, Rear defrost, 4 way driver power seat
Born on - 6/8/1993, Purchased 8/1993
Dealership - Magaziner Ford, Glassboro, NJ (long gone)
Mileage - 17,745
Alive and very well
I have made some modifications to the car, but the engine, suspension and exhaust (save Motorsport headers) are stock. The stock T5 transmission lost first gear gear at about one year and Ford replaced it with a T5Z under warranty. The Z's ratios work very well with the 3.55 gears they installed at the same time. This was at the recommendation of their service manager. I have recently converted to five lug with authentic 1998 Cobra wheels. I fitted them with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 tires (stock size). A huge improvement over the stock Goodyears. I look forward to being able to interact with the other members of this great site and continue to benefit from this vast source of knowledge on the 1993 Cobra.

I live in Burlington Co. We should get our cars together sometime. You ever participate in any of the SJ Mustang Club or other local shows?

You're right buddha it is both loved and enjoyed. My wife and I took it on it's first major road trip after almost 21 years of ownership to the Mustang 50th anniversary in Charlotte. We attended the festivities yesterday and are on are currently on our way back home to NJ. It was the Cobra's first overnight outside. I suffered major trepidation about this venture, but so far things have worked out very well. Experiencing the anniversary with the Cobra at my side was a great experience. The interaction with the other Mustang owners was priceless and a once in a lifetime opportunity. It may be the inspiration for future trips with the Cobra.

Z28, I do attend a few local shows, but have never taken the Cobra. Seems the '68 and '36 better fit those venues. I have had no contact with the SJ Mustang Club, but am certainly interested in pursuing it. Might be a great place for you and me to hook up.

As for the SJ Mustang Club, I'm not yet a member, but I do participate in their shows. You may want to consider taking your Cobra to a show or two. I've won 7 trophies over the last two years in a variety of local shows. I'll PM you when I'm next participating in a local show ... maybe we'll be able to cross paths.
