i believe car fax changed it policies to only use one time search for per user.. its like $40 bucks.

Not correct. Carfax offers 3 options - (1) one-time report for $39.99; (2) 5 reports for $49.99; and (3) Unlimited Plan for $54.99 (although this plan's name is deceiving - its only good for 30 days and allows unlimited reports by license plate, only 5 reports by VIN#).
