And 1993cobra I did check all the places I know of vin tags, (underside of each door, inner fenders, hatch, under rear bumper, and hood). Anywhere else?

Carfax came up clean, just changes in ownership and maintenance. A few failed emissions but always followed by passing tests.
jambs in hatch, and one on front top bumper.

I've never posted pics before so I hope this works. This is from last week when I test drove it. I'll get more when the sun comes out (which could be a while where I live).

I did not see the C under the S on the door tag for the sunroof, so I'll take a look at the window sticker. I'm guessing it was a dealer added option?

Wrong pic. That last one was tonight when I pulled it in the garage.

Sun Roof looks like the legit size, shape they should be. Did it have the black cover bag in the back with the strap in the trunk area?

Yes i have the bag that came with the car, again just like the removable sunroof in my 89 GT.

I forget if I mentioned it or not, but there was no mention of the sunroof on the original window sticker. I figured it would have been mentioned there. Also. I have a box of documentation and it seems if the original owner had one put in he would he kept the receipt seeing as he kept tire rotation receipts

I think it's a factory sunroof. But how to know for sure?

I'll pose detailed pics tomorrow.

This one is a good mystery considering there's no sunroof listed on the window sticker or sunroof code on the door tag. I'm guessing it was dealer installed possibly before the original owner purchased the car.

Regardless, it looks like it was well kept. Enjoy it!

sunroof looks too wide and looks like it sits up a little, but the picture is kinda dark , just look at the door sticker. post a pic of it.

Of course the pics show up sideways... Amateur hour. My bad.

So there are a couple pics of the roof. It does look factory. No mention of it on the dealer's invoice so I don't think it was put on by them.

Anyways, yes the mods are: AFR 165s, TFS intake, CAI with a ram air duct from under the bumper, long tubes, cat h-pipe and what sounds like the original mufflers (they're kind of quiet). I can tell it has gears in the rear and a shifter, maybe a tougher clutch. Corbeau seats, and the Jacobs ignition coil system, a pro-m MAF. But with all of that I believe it has the original TB and cam. I was told that's the original engine with new rings. The back seat is out of it and there was a corbeau seatbelt bar installed at one time that came with the car.

With 117k miles on it, I'm currently driving the car to work about 20 miles down the I-5... At the top of the list is to get the factory radio working and then find out what winding is coming from the dash (maybe the speedo/odo gauge but with a radio on you wouldn't hear it but now I know it's making noise so I'll dig in there and fix it). Do a full fluids change and tune up.

Then I have the tough decision to return it to stock or keep upgrading it. It's in great shape but far from preserved. A few trim pieces are fading and will take some semi-gloss black to shine up. Maybe new taillights. What do you think? Return to original or start on the suspension and just upkeep the paint and exterior trim? The original drivers seat is faded / worn so it could use a new covering, but I like the seats in it now too. Tough call. But I'm proud to own it! Had a guy chase me down in a parking lot today to give me a thumbs up and tell
Me about his 91 LX!

No mention of the sunroof here... I wonder where else I could go to find out where it came from?

I'd never change the appearance of the car aside from maybe chroming the original wheels.

Yeah I'll get out there and check it out but I just moved here and don't have all the lighting setup in my garage yet so it may be too dark.

Wow is that your original paint?
My car needs wax and buffing!
