1993 Cobra Registry

Clean 1993 price is high clean carfax but no svt certificate and dealer has no info on build number
Last digits of vin are 154784

Also passenger side door molding looks suspect like the paint doesn't match
Unless it's the picture
Any info is appreciated

Keep in mind that fading door moldings are an issue with the Fox body cars, including the Cobras. The OEM moldings came colored from the factory to match the rest of the car, but were not painted. Over time, they sometimes will not perfectly match the rest of the exterior. That's my guess for what's happened to this car.

What happens to the value without the certificate ?

Not much IMO. While it's nice to have an original SVT cert, you can easily order a duplicate for any Cobra from Ford for around $40.

I know cars are worth whatever some one is willing to pay BUT realistically what is this car worth?

Looks like a clean teal/gray cloth in good condition both inside and out. Has common mods including Hurst shifter, air box removed with K&N filter, aftermarket plug wires, radiator, stereo, alarm and Flowmaster mufflers and exhaust pipes. Check into why the dealer website has mileage as 44,141 (unknown). I'm also guessing dealer does not have the window sticker, owners manual & other vehicle docs, or any of the original parts that were modified.

Assuming mileage is not an issue, I'd ballpark this one at $15.5K-$17.5K.

No documentation other than carfax and its on consignment
Going by carfax all miles were put on original owner up til 2009
Then it looks like it basically was at a ford dealership so maybe it was used
To display on showroom floor
I'm going to see it tomorrow and was thinking the same price range
