$28k ouch. Needs paint work on top of that.

Thanks for the information.

Id like to find a clean Red 93 but looking for one with more mileage and a better price.

The owner told me it had cracks in the paint on the hood that he didn't know how they got there. In one of his pictures you can see them. I had him email me pictures of it as well. Just looks like very small cracks. Hard to really see in the pictures.

Gotcha, I see that now in the sellers Ebay ad. I don't know that I'd bother touching that up to be honest...not really that big of a blemish and these cars are only original once. I'd definitely take the blemished area into consideration though when it came time to make an offer on the car.

The cracking is more than likely just from age. Crows feet as it is often referred to is pretty common on some original black cars where it show's quicker just because it's black. I'm sure it will happen on some original low mile cars of teal and red colors it's just one of those things these cars are creeping on 25 years old. I would use it as a negotiation point but look it over and see how bad it is. Hopefully it isnt as bad as he describes.

X2. Unfortunately, the Ford paint quality was not one of the Cobra's strong points.
