Very cool, thank you.
That is who I bought the car from. The owner traded it in on a new 2003 Cobra.

Funny thing is, the car was sold twice before I got to it.
Young men, 18-19 put money down on it. The salesman told them to go to the bank and get a loan quote.
He told them to call their insurance co and get a quote.
They came back and got their deposit money back.

He was asking 8500, I offered 6000 he did not even blink and said yes.
First think I thought was Damn, I should of offered 4000$.

A year later I went back there to buy a family AWD SUV and to trade in my 98 GT Mustang.
He looked at me and said " I remember you. You stole that 93 Cobra from me! I want it back, bring it in I'll give you 8500$

I live in NY, but I have bought several card from them. they have given me several good deals.

I see you know the area. My parents had a cabin on Candlewood lake back in the 50s early 60s
They sold it when I was young, maybe 5 or so. That was in the mid 60s

I have the cars owner manual with the original owners name and address in it, maybe phone# too. I never contacted them.
They kept good track of repairs and maintenance dates
I used to go to Late Model Mustangs of CT. car shows, I hoped I would run into them. I left a sticker on the rear window that they would know.

I put a lot of time, effort and money into this car. It needed a lot of work when I got it.
Needed exhaust. clutch, paint front lights were real hazed over, drivers tail light was cracked.
It's getting there. I do a little work to it every year.
I redid the drivers seat, it had the usual hole by the door worn in. I have the kit to redo all the cloth seats, not going to do them.
All the other seats look new. Maybe I will run into a new looking original replacement one day.

I spent a lot of time on that lake during my childhood. Terrific place. Lots of good roads to drive a Cobra on!
