I love how he says he regrettably is going to part with his collection. I made offers to buy the lot of them when they were in Fl. The owner wasnt coming off them but a grand or two even if you bought them all. Collins may have blown some smoke and gotten them cheaper since he's a tv star and all but these are the cash prices I was quoted.
triple white and 7up he was set on $22500 and the Triple white car has a couple mods, shifter and 373
94 pace car he was at 22500
89 hatch car he wanted 20k
99 gt he wanted 20k
83 was 20k
svo was 20k
94 gt was 20k

I figure the feature and 7up cars are worth 20k each
The 94 pace car there are plenty of them with similar miles that people are asking 18k for and have been for sale a while.
The 89 Hatch isnt a desirable color combo maybe its a 18k car at most
the 99 gt I think is 15k
the 83 is a 6cyld and I've saw a 5.0 with 9 miles like it sell for less than 20k
SVO is cool and not sure what it is worth but I'd say 15 to 18k
and the 94 I'd say 15k

He's either gonna loose money or his celebrity is gonna run them high and alter the fox market from here on.

I'm thinkin' the former. None of those cars are rare, got-to-have-it color combo and options vehicles. Wake me up when someone brings a collection of '90-'93 Saleens, 5-oh/5-spd notches or fox Cobras to auction.

Damn!! Those prices are ridiculous (assuming the sales actually go through).

What's in the water out in AZ? At the recent Mecum auction in FL the top bid on a 93R was $60K and the top bid on a 00R was $50K.

A 7up car did 82.5? Really?

Yes those prices do include buyers fees of a few thousand tho. They were sold no reserve so unless they were bid up for tv who knows. I do know that by law I cannot sell a car at my lot if I suspect the purchaser is intoxicated because they arent thinking correctly so how can they at these auctions. They have full bars which are usually free so you know some of these guys are hammered.

Aha! So that's where the term 'hammer price' comes from! ;)
