Look on the bright side, fellas. If this is a true indication on where the market maybe headed, we're gonna make a killing when we sell our Mustangs!

You mean I shouldn't put my beloved Cobra on the market with an asking price of $40K and expect a quick sale?!?buddha wrote:I don't think it's any indicator of what the market really is. This is nothing new for BJ auctions.
I have a funny story about that. My buddies dad was buying a new car in 87 and drove a new GNX home that the dealer had. He couldnt bring himself to buy it because it was a 6cyld turbo and he was scared of the turbo tearing up. Instead he went the same day and bought a new 87 Cougar XR7 5.0 that he has to this day with 8k miles on it. He asked me a while back what it was worth I told him maybe 10k and told him the GNX 100k and that he made a 90k mistake.Z282SLO wrote:^^^
What a surprise! Guess most Fox bodies should just be driven and enjoyed. As for an investment, I should have bought a Buick GNX in the early 90s.

You win some, you lose some. Although that loss is a tough one! Hope he's enjoying that Cougar!SPEEDFREEK wrote:I have a funny story about that.
