240k Mile DD

Post by BrettT »

Well, fella's hope ya don't mind. But, wanted to show off the DD.
It's a Bowtie, however it's highly reliable and get's pretty good gas mileage considering a mix of highway, traffic, city driving, averaging 19.5 mpg.

I almost traded her in a couple of weeks ago, but the deal fell through due to low trade in offer and final pricing on the other vehicle. :(
But, There's no issues with this truck, and I really like it and enjoy it. So be it, no payments and still a good looken well kept truck.

It's an 2003 and has 240k miles on it (being a diesel that's nothing), has the original front end (all joints lubed every 3-5k), all original leather with no CRACKS (look at that driver seat guys) :). I apply turtle wax's premium leather conditioner on that driver seat just about once a month.

Thanks Tide, I didn't get that one that you car faxed for me. They low balled me on my '03 Silverado above and stuck it to me hard on the 2011 model because the dealer had to make a swap and transport.

Yea something about the GM steering geometry or something is different than the Fords the GM feels much better in all the GM Trucks, Yukons, Tahoes ect.

Nice truck, good job on keeping the leather up. I would like to have a truck myself, kinda tired of hauling the trash in the Jeep.

Second owner, the first had it for a year and a half. He was my wife's employer back then.

Hell ya, that's a really nice truck. I'd keep it for sure. I never drive my F-150, but I just can't go without a truck. I find that it's just hard to get by without one for the occasional trip to the lumber yard, etc.

There's something to be said about no payments. That's why I'm rocking the 03' Impala to work everyday. 30+ miles to the gallon doesn't hurt either.
