1985 Mustang GT - Value estimates please

Just curious what people would value an all original paint - 1985 Mustang GT. Paint is in nice shape for being original, interior is in great shape. Mostly stock, 8.8 rear, 3:55 gears. Hard-top, black, with the grey-silver interior. The original GT hood striping is all there as well. 79,900 miles. Owner installed a 140mph gauge cluster, but has original. No accidents and clean title.

I would need to run a car-fax to make sure the miles are accurate.

Let's hear some guesstimates!

Sounds about right. '85's are the last of the carbed cars. Hard to find a decent example. Good luck.

I would say no more than 8k tops. Twins has had alot of nice near new 4 eye cars and the low mile ones have only brought between 13-15k. And when I say low miles I mean under 15k miles.

Speeds right. Twin sold that low mile GT to the ford dealer in Raleigh and they couldnt even sell it for $12k and it had really low miles it was a black 85 GT.

He and I were talking about that car last week. I think he said he got 17 or 18 out of it. It was mint.
