The Dummy sitting beside it is supposed to be Charlie Taft his youngest son or something like that who was "famous" in Cincinnati for driving his old Maverick around town all the time all year round with a canoe strapped on top of it. I advertised it on the net and got a call one day from "The Friends of William Howard Taft" wanting to buy my Mav. They told me what they were going to do. Years later I found a web site called "Maverick Heaven" that had photos of dead Mav's in it. That one was that blue one. Look close and you can still see the Grabber Rear Spoiler piece still on it, LOL.

You must have better eyes than me... I can't see the blue. :-) Its kewl to know that your car will be forever taken care of in a museum.

LOL, Yep. Know what is SAD. They told me they would be cutting my Mav in half for the display. I almost didn't sell it to them. Told the guy jokingly to hush up on all that, LOL. I had rebuilt the front suspension, put a header on the 250 with a new dual exhaust on it, put a shift kit in the tranny and a few other things and they CUT THE CAR, :yuck: :yuck:

I see you have been a connoisseur of strange mustangs since the 65 HI PO 6 banger? Thats a rare gem.
