I think now the teal is another color in person, pictures distort it in so many ways, I've already had guys asking about it around town including the guy at my smog shop offering to buy it, the exhaust sounds amazing and the 3.73's are a very nice touch for it being a town car, and not sure if the mrs will be posting much as she doesn't care about other ones for sale and doesn't know a hell of a lot about these cars but we'll see she could surprise me......thanks again brettBrettT 93|03 wrote:Congrats Rolltide!
Looks like it was well worth the wait.
Glad to see the wife of the house taken a liken to it. Not to many care for such a color.
Well, again, glad to see ya get back into another one. Enjoy it man.
Oh, I saw that the Mrs's registered here as MrsRolltide, cool! HA

Definitely city, luckily st8-E did both of those when he had it, very nicecityboy21 wrote:the 3.73s definitely give it a little snap. when I got mine I put my GPS in the car to see if the speedo was off. it was by about a good 10mph. she's spot on now that I did the tail shaft gear and the speedo gear.

I hear ya. the guy I got mine from said the speedo was spot on. he also said the car rode smooth going down the road which I find hard to believe seeing as the stock shocks were completely shot from the Eibach install. as soon as it came off the trailer I knew something was up. he was honest on the cars condition. just some of the mechanical stuff(rear main seal, shocks, speedo) was questionable.
so are you liking the 3.73s or going back to stock? just curious.

Keeping the gears for sure bro, it's not going on the freeway so I like having some piss behind it in town, if I start returning it back to completely stock I will Change them but I love them for now, plus I'm gonna take it to the local track and run it to see what kind of time I can get so it will helpcityboy21 wrote:I hear ya. the guy I got mine from said the speedo was spot on. he also said the car rode smooth going down the road which I find hard to believe seeing as the stock shocks were completely shot from the Eibach install. as soon as it came off the trailer I knew something was up. he was honest on the cars condition. just some of the mechanical stuff(rear main seal, shocks, speedo) was questionable.

when I picked mine up it still had the Nitto 555s on it so when I got to the first light I lit them up. it was effortless with the 3.73s. my daughter was behind me just shaking her head. I won't spin the new gatorbacks but it's nice knowing I can with ease if the urge ever comes over me.
