It's not a revalation that we comment on 93's for sale and if one of them has a crazy BIN we have always given our opinions, I don't think the name calling started til svteric got offended that WE didn't think his price was realistic, no shit he can ask what he wants noone ever said he couldn't but with that he was going to get some heat
Kinda where I was at with the whole thing, as this is just on old thread that was dug up to link the history of the car. I was commenting on the sale of the car. Whether or not Eric saw was of no concern.
In the end, we all love the cars and wish the best of luck with this one. The main point here that most of us didn't agree with the selling tatics, but it' s your car sell it as you like.
I think with the price reduced to a more realistic price, you'll get a lot more interest. Tire kickers and dreamers will be there, but a simple "NO" to any low ball offers is easy enough.

[quote="Z282SLO"]Very interesting ... the Ebay auction on this one just ended with no sale. Highest bid came in just $600 more than what was paid for the car.
I see you're counting all the run up bids. Wonder what the highest bid would have been without all the typical ebay crap.
Im thinking of doing a no reserve auction with my car. The car is so perfect and I hate for it to keep sitting around. I am building a motocross track in my backyard currently and all the traffic in the garage is making me a nervous wreck and I just wanna sell it and see it go to a good home. I dont really wanna lose money on it but at this point like I said Im more worried about it going to a good home. What are yalls thoughts on a no reserve auction for this car?

Eh, that's a tough call. There is a lot of BS associated wtih Ebay and the bidding system. Bids are placed all the time just fo the sake of diong so when they know where the BIN number is, or a good idea of the reserve.
I think you can get your money back out of it without too much effort, and you could simply start the auction at $17k and see what happens. Keeps all of the nonsense out of the game.
This car would have never broken $20k in bids in the first few days if the BIN wasn't listed at $50k. These jokers know the reserve is extermely high, so they come out of the gates with huge starting bids.
There are no local guys so to speak. That's not say you don't have one in your backyard, but the operate nationwide without a dedicated fleet.
Ha! Perfect Buddha! I was going to tell you svteric DO NOT USE STATEWAY AUTO TRANSPORT!!!!!! No communication what so ever and couldn't be less helpful
