I would start with a higher opening bid then a dollar. IMO

It was a preproduction car, off the assembly line in 92, they put the 93 stickers on them when they released to the public.

Wow! Is the car really worth $15k, is the economy that bad, I don't get it??? Though it would at least bring $17k, guess I don't know much. If anyone out there fells $17 is realistic that what I can let it go for.

IMO the problem isn't the car or that it's not worth what you want but its that that market for these cars is fairly small and the market for the higher priced cobras is even smaller. Cars in the 10k range seem to go fairly quickly but the closer you get to 20k is where patience for the right buyer to run across it or just happen to have the funds at the right time. I could be wrong but I think at 17k someone would get a good buy just gotta wait for that someone.

Yeah hang tight someone will grab it. Just has to be someone looking for a pre-production car otherwise it's just a 50k mile Cobra to most people.

It probably doesn't help the time of the year, plus all the natural disaster that hit the east coast.

agreed, bad timing, holidays coming, winter storage (northern states), etc...
