bdecoy,

Really cool that you remembered the car. Do you remember the owner of the car back then? Guy got stage 4 cancer and had to sell the car to help out his daughter and wife so that hey didnt have to deal with it after his passing. Very sad!!! Car is so fresh that it still has the new car smell in it.

I am really glad we have this 1993 Cobra community where we can share our prized possessions...

Very cool… I am looking at Cal Car Cover… was advised that the NOAH is the best one for indoor use.

Wow 800 HP thats insane!! My car is completely stock Head to Toe… I have a question, the radio is all stock and the speakers are too, the speakers make a popping noise and sometimes they even fade in and out… whats that all about?

The radios cause the popping noise with volume control, they say you can clean the contacts with the face off. There has been several issues with the factory amps messing up also. There is a guy Rooster6969 on ebay that re-furbishes the radios and amps I believe. Might be able to send it to him for repair.

Willy,

So the issue is with the actual radio and not the speakers? I really don’t wanna touch anything or remove anything … I mean that car is like it just came out of the show room floor. If I remove radio - that means it has been touched - really don’t want to take that away from the car… Or I am just being anal about it?? Any advise...

Its the radio not the speakers. They all will eventually do it. Mine has 6900 miles on it and I noticed the last time I started it that it had started popping when you turn it up.

most of mine will start acting normal after 20 or 30 minutes. I have one that wont even make sound after 5 minutes it starts working but pops when you change the volume then 20 minutes its good.
