Most dont know that about the teals. And for some reason it is mainly the teals. My red has done it a little but nothing like my teal. I never drive my car and still have to wax the oil off the mouldings every so often.

I use castrol purple cleaner, spray it on and watch the black just roll off, have a water hose handy, cause you don't want the purple cleaner to sit on the nice paint too long, they will clean up like new. Thinner works to, but it is hard to get in all the corners,

Make sure you use the castrol cleaner, it works the best. It's in a purple spray bottle at autozone.

I was actually going to edit, and say I used a tooth brush as well, but you can't edit post for some reason. Tooth brush is great for door hing area as well

Yeah the side mouldings are notorious for doing that...
Why is that? Are the moldings on the doors a different material than the front and rear side moldings?
Are they just dirty? Because those moldings don't look like they belong to such a clean car otherwise.

Your car is Super Clean and I'm looking for a clean '93!!!

Thanks!!!
You should pick it up Chris

Nah not going anywhere. You're all a good group of guys. Plus i still like 93 Cobras. And will more than likely get another one in the future, just not sure when that will be.
