I bought #62 From Chris Kauffman a few years back, it was shipped to a ford dealer in SC, but was never sold, it was used for SCCA Racing, it has the most SCCA race time of any of the 93 cobra R cars. I sold the car to Ford Racing Dealer in MI. I did title the car in Utah, but it was still on an MSO when I bought it.

Well we found 2 of the 6 cars!!!.....I checked around on the emissions labels on the 2 cars.....Only thing I can suspect is that since only 6 of the 107 cars were destined for CA, Ford just put the standard 49-State emissions sticker on the 93R, and perhaps sent the CA emissions stickers to the dealers directly.....Evidently they never were given or placed on the cars to correct the label errors.......It is odd that the 93 Cobra didn't have the correct label either......could be Ford just F-----D up.....It was known to happen.......

Yes that's the Black 93 Cobra that I picked up along with the R model....Only thing to fix is the forward/back seat motor....really sluggish...could be lube needed or ???.

Here is a pic of the 93R....Just gone on it's first freeway drive ever in So. Calif....Mustangs at the Queen Mary Show in Long Beach, CA....
After 15 years of sitting, and a little work (new gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, gas filter)...car ran beautifully down and back from the show.....Broke the 300-mile barrier.....Really forgot how nice these cars are to drive, even the R!!!!!!

WOW! Amazing! Is that how you bought it or did you have it detailed?

Other than a layer of dust, the car was not detailed.....Just washed down everything with a light dusting of water from a power washer.......Car has just had exterior glazed, and will have coolant-flushed and put up for sale......Really, the finishes are the best I have come across, with the climate in AZ preserving the finishes, and no oxidation....!!!!!
