Thanks, I have quite a few sets, this set even has the correct build date for this car, pretty cool I think. I am hoping to have the motor in tomorrow, But we will see.

Does the rear bumper still have the vin sticker?

Also if the car has a bad title and ODO discrepancy then why put it back to stock? I'd think you'd do something cool like put a new 5.0 motor in it or something? Now that would be sweet!

Sorry man, this car is just way to clean to Mod, slavage title or not, still wearing the Original tires as well, and full Original exhaust. And original paint.

And yes the rear cover still has the Vin sticker on it. They did tape around it for the paint,

Now if someone where to offer me some crazy money to mod it, with a new 5.0, I would do it, but for me. I have enough original parts to put it back 100% OEM, Just cause an original 66 Shelby is missing the original motor, is no reason to put something in it that doesn't belong.

I put the 93 In the same category as the old Shelbys.

Nice progress pics. Man, I forgot how restrictive the stock exhaust headers were on the 5.0 motor. You'd think SVT could have engineered headers with less bends and indentations, especially considering all the other changes they did to the Cobra motor.

#621 was built on 2/19/93 and the valve cover sticker shows 2/9/93. Being 10 days apart is still pretty cool.

Plus, with those 2/9/93 covers, you should technically be using an OEM smooth intake for true authenticity.

Just an FYI! The build date on motor has nothing to do with build date of the car! Most of do not match! And most motors where built a week ahead of the car so they where ready to go. So the 9th is probably just about the same day the original motor was built!

As for the intake. Car 621 may or may not have had an early intake. As the exact build # change is not known. I am however looking for an early intake. If I cant find one. No biggie.

This seems more like a build thread and not a for sale thread. You don't have finished pictures of the car nor a price! So who cares... Plus everyone was talking about the title for about 2 pages worth. So why jump on the guy because he is questioning you about the intake???
