Guys,
I know you probably don't like newbies posting cars for sale on the forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Robert, age 58 and a member since '09. I visit the site once or twice a week, but I don't think I've ever posted. I have two cobras, a red one I bought in '94 with 15,000 miles on it, and this black one, I have for sale, in 2003 with 59,000 miles. I commute 72 miles a day, and these two cars have been my main transportation. Other family members have used them also, so both have been on the road pretty much full time. My red car has 260,xxx miles and the chassis feels a little loose--I gave it to my son, who is thirty.
The black car now has 208,xxx, and was my daughter's car. She bought a Subaru, and gave this black car back to me, so I've been driving it again for about a year. The chassis is much tighter on this car. It feels more like 108,xxx than 208.
My main automotive sport is autocross (St. Louis and Memphis). I autocrossed the red car a lot, this black one only a half-dozen times. I always ran in the stock classes, so both cars are 99% stock.
This black car is in very good mechanical condition. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it across the USA at 90 miles per hour. It's been a great daily driver, but I'm interested in building an electric car to drive to work and to autocross, and I can always borrow the red car from my son for a little Cobra action.
Thanks,
Robert

For Sale 1993 Mustang Cobra. 99% original numbers matching car. Black, gray leather interior. Only mods are Magnaflow stainless steel cat. back exhaust, 3.55 gears, white face gauges, K&N air filter, and BBK 155lph fuel pump. Excellent mechanical shape. I installed a new copper radiator in 2014, and a new fuel tank, filler neck grommet, fuel pump hanger, and BBK 155 lph fuel pump this year. No rust, no dents. Freshly painted front bumper cover and mirror housings. Has some hail dings, and a replacement rear bumper cover that has cracked due to improper installation. Driver's seat shows quite a bit of wear, but otherwise the interior (including headliner) is in great shape. Current miles is 208,xxx mostly from 55-60 mph along country highway during daily commute. If you want a fun, quick car that turns heads, but don't want to risk wearing out a show car, this is the car for you. $9750.

You could buy this one, and give it to your kids. It has a log book with all maintenance from mile 39,xxx when the second owner bought it. I think it is good for another 100,000 miles.
